Introduction

The Department of Neurology, School of Medicine, Kyungpook National University was founded by Chung-Kyu Suh, MD, PhD, in early 1990s. The department grew from one faculty member in that era to seven outstanding faculty members in present times. The vision of our department is to be the marvelous department by conducting numerous clinical and basic neuroscience research, and teaching and training future national leaders in neurology and neuroscience. The department is also the home of neurology residency training program and is associated with two affiliated teaching tertiary hospitals.
